8. Delivery Attempts

Before dispatching your order, we will attempt to contact you to confirm delivery for first-time orders, gift orders, or same-day deliveries. Please notify us if no recipient aged 18+ will be available with acceptable ID, or if the delivery cannot proceed for any other reason. For repeat orders that are not gifts, unattended delivery may be permitted in accordance with liquor licensing laws.

We will make up to two delivery attempts.

A delivery attempt may be marked as failed for the following reasons in accordance with Victorian liquor licensing laws:

  • For first-time orders, the named recipient is not available.
  • No person aged 18 years or older is available to receive the order when required.
  • The recipient fails to present acceptable ID when required.
  • The recipient is a minor.
  • The recipient is intoxicated, or there is a substantial risk the recipient is intoxicated.

We may also mark a delivery as failed for the following additional reasons:

  • Inaccessible or unsafe delivery location.
  • Incorrect or incomplete address details.
  • Incorrect or incomplete recipient details.

If both attempts fail and we decide not to make further delivery attempts, your order will be cancelled and refunded minus any applicable delivery fees.

9. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on location and order size.

If redelivery is required due to customer error or failed delivery due to reasons listed in section 8, additional shipping fees may apply, including on orders that originally qualified for free shipping.

10. Temperature During Transit

All beer is cold-stored before dispatch. While we take every effort to ensure it arrives in good condition, we cannot control temperature during transit and cannot guarantee cold delivery.
