Smooth coffee and chocolate, gentle roast, with hints of banana and clove.

Silky smooth and surprisingly light, with low bitterness, a subtle refreshing lift and a satisfying finish. Think cold brew coffee vibes but in beer form.

Where it started

F-Wit started as a homebrew experiment, long before JKB Brewing existed.

Our founder Jamie was making a wheat beer and came across dark wheat malt. He’d never used it before, so he thought, “What happens if I chuck some of that in?”

So he did.

Turns out it was good for sipping and pondering, or just smashing and finishing it off. It was totally different to anything he had before. Which why it was the first beer JKB ever produced.

Wheat beer has a distinctive character that makes it feel like something a little different. Dark beer has that silky, satisfying roast character we love.

So what happens when we put them together?

JKB Brewing have created some truly unique flavours that push the boundaries of what is possible when it comes to brewing beer. The inaugural F-Wit has a dark complexity that is somehow delicate enough to still enjoy in the warmer weather.
